Jafar is large and will throw giant fire balls at you, but that's all he does. This is quite possibly the easiest boss fight in the game. Victory will award you the Blizzara Spell upgrade. There's not much you can do except expect him to do that and be ready to dash before you evades and starts casting spells at you. The other thing is that he will do that and turn back into himself and once you get close enough to swing he will lurch across the room again. After you attack him enough he will turn himself into an orb of light and swiftly pelt around the room, often changing halves of the room once you reach him. The thing that can take awhile is that Jafar evades in a very annoying pattern. His last spell is where he will blast the platform you're standing on with a light explosion meant to not your away from him. Jafar can also create an Ice Tornado in the center of the room that sucks to get hit by. This can be parried for signficant Tech Points and will leave him open to be comboed. He can also set his staff on fire and will swipe at you. In terms of Spells Jafar will shoot a harsh beam from his staff which cannot be blocked and will do signficant damage. So get used to climbing up those platforms. There are a few platforms in the room which are what Jafar will float above and where you will attack him from. On top of that he is controlling Genie's Lamp so Genie will float around and throw punches at you (while apologizing). Jafar uses his magic spells to attack you, and he has several in his arsenal. This is not a very hard fight, but it can be a long one. Again there are several treasures to be found so search around for a bit if you want, and when you're ready continue on. When you first enter the Cave there isn't actually anything to be done for progression up top so if you're done searching for treasure drop down to the Dark Chamber located by falling in any of the pits in the Cave. As you can imagine the Cave of Wonders is filled to the brim with treasure so if you want, take some time to go searching and looking around. When you enter you will naturally be greeted by lots of heartless so be ready to fight a lot. The only other option is waiting for him to dig his nose into the sand so you can do Aerial Combos. Also standing on his nose and cheeks is the only way to combo him which adds to the the difficulty. He will flail around and make it hard to stay on. The trickiest part of this fight is going to be balance. Like with most of them you can rack up some serious Tech Points for parrying them. The Guardian fires beams out of his eyes (by now you're familiar with this tactic). Hopefully you can rely on Donald and Goofy to handle the heartless and you can just focus on the Guardian. The strategy is essentially to get up on his head and wail on his eyes. This is made harder by the fact that he summons swarms of heartless to aid him, and he flails his head around making it hard to balance. The Tiger Head Guardian is your target, but you can only hurt him by hitting his eyes. Sora will say that Carpet flew off toward the Desert, so guess where you're going.īOSS: The Cave of Wonders Guardian hp: 380 exp: 400 Needless to say, help the Carpet get free. Inside Aladdin's house you'll find a Save Point, some good treasure, and the Magic Carpet trapped under a shelf. Climb your way up and then climb the wooden pole to enter Aladdins house (Also on down on the ground level around the back side). Go through the gate back to the Main Street. Your real goal right now is to get to Aladdin's House. The first location you start is called the Plaza and it has a door that leads to the Storage Room which has a save point and several treasures for you to claim. Agrabah is not a very large world, and the city portion only has a few locations within it, but they are almost all very vertical, so do your exploration and treasure hunting by climbing and platforming across the sections. Fight through the new Heartless "Bandits" that will appear and familiarize yourself with how they fight. When you first land in Agrabah you will be at the entrance to the city.
